BETH SWAIN, LPC, LENS

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a LENS (low energy neurotherapy system) practitioner with Advanced Certification. I provide emotional and mental health counseling and neurofeedback at Deep Roots. I specialize in looking at patterns in people’s lives which are blocking them from being their authentic selves and help them find a path which frees them to put their energy more fully into their life meaning.

My post-graduate training in Existential-Humanistic and Jungian theory provides me with a rich background in understanding and supporting the needs of my clients. I am certified as an Archetypal Pattern Analyst through the Assisi Institute in Mystic, CT.

I began my career as an Early Childhood Educator, spending 15 years working with parents and young children, training preschool teachers and providing an early childhood program which served as a lab site for Chemeketa Community College’s Early Childhood training program.

Next, I began supporting parents through the NewWorkforce Dept. at Chemeketa Community College through teaching stress management, conflict and time management, career planning, parenting and personal growth classes. Through this work, I helped many people get on their feet emotionally and financially.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice for over fifteen years and focused much of my work on women and children who need healing from trauma. I am trained in EMDR, sand tray therapy and art therapy.

I have found Naturopathy provides a critical piece for healing and I am delighted to come alongside Luke Gonzales, ND, as a member of his team. When I am not at Deep Roots I am pursuing my passion of working with clay and enjoying time with my husband, my grown children and grandchildren.
